            All Bus ID's are ready and most of them have already been distributed. If you have not yet collected your Bus ID, please see your Head of Section.

            Primary: Year 1-4 (Static/ Working Models)

             

            1. What will our solar system look like after 10 million years?

            2. Inhabiting planet Mars-100 years after landing.

            3. Evolution-changes in the human body after 100 decades.

            4. The next Ice Age. 

             

            Secondary: Year 5 and above (Working Models/ Experimental)

             

            1. Cloud Seeding-benefits and risks.

             

            2. Dubai’s urban evolution- Impact on Man, Impact on animals and plants.

            3. Design a water cooling system for school washrooms.

            4. Converting sea water in to drinkable water.

            5. Reducing electrical energy consumption at home.

            6. Reducing energy loss at home using cans or pet bottles.

             

            Projects related to Chemistry, Biology or Physics will be referred to the respective heads.

             

            If your students wish to work on a project other than the ones mentioned above, please make sure their work is innovative and creative.

            All Science teachers are moderators of their students' projects. Let the students know that the rubric for judgment will be communicated to them once it's finalized. 

             

            Name/Title of the project should be submitted by the students to you by this Wednesday, 19th September, 2018.

             

            Last date to submit projects is Wednesday, 3rd October, 2018.

             

            Teachers can meet me in their free time to discuss further details.

          • Saturday Book Shops

            Dear Parents,

            School book shop will be open on Saturday (September 15, 2018) to accommodate the parents who have the appointments, or could not come during week or were not able to collect books due to long queue. 

            To make it more convenient, there will be TEN different collections points where you can get the books. 

            Please note the timings will be 8:00 to 1:30

          • Students who have joined ELS this year, can request here for registration or can get the username & password from their Form Tutors (class teachers). Others will continue using their old credentials

          • Pearson's Books

          • Dear Parents, 

            Pearson's Books have been delivered to the school book shop and are available for distribution. You can come and collect.

            We will be having "Saturday Book Shops" on coming weekend, inshallah, to accommodate as many as possible. 

             

          • BUS ID's

          • Dear Parents/Students, 

            Student's Bus ID's are ready for all the classes (Bus # 1 to 8). Those who have not yet collected, can get it from the form tutors or HOS's.

            You can get your Bus ID from your Form Tutor (Class Teacher) or HOS

            12:50       Year 1 leave,

            12:55       Year 2 to 4 leave

            1:10         Bus Girls leave through Gate 5 (Year 5 to 13)

            1:15         Bus Boys Leave through Gate 5 (Year 5 to 13)

            1:20         Metro Students (Girls) leave through Accommodation Gate; and

                            Own Transport Students (Girls) leave through Gate 2 or Accommodation Gate

            1:25         Metro Students (Boys) leave through Accommodation Gate; and

                            Own Transport Students (Boys) leave through Gate 2 or Accommodation Gate

             

            Own Transport Students can be collected by the parents either from Gate # 2 or from Accommodation Gate. Siblings Forms will be given to the students on Sunday Morning and be confirmed with the parents so all siblings can leave together.
